Hey everyone! This week the Neon Wiener made its way back to Earth for a little pit stop. We needed to stock up on supplies, but the mega-cool reason we really came back was to visit a friend of mine at his new bookstore. Maybe you've heard of him -- Jeff Kinney?

You probably know that Jeff is the author of the super-mega popular series, Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Plus he's the creator of Poptropica. And now he's a independent book seller, too! His new store is called An Unlikely Story and it's in Plainville, Massachusetts.

The place opens really soon, so Jeff asked me if I wanted to take a tour of it when I could make it back to Earth. And I was like, "Do hogtarians fly?!" And Jeff was like "Huh?" because of course he's never seen a hogtarian, which my tiny little Cosmoe brain forgot. So I said, "Um, YEAH I do!!!" And then a couple days later, me and Jeff were hanging out in his new store!

When we last left off, Princess Dagger was NOT happy about her fat space suit! I totally won that little argument. But things go from funny to super serious, super fast. Wow, these rad kids can draw!

Hey you guys! How's it going? Today I'm featuring some way-cool kids from Elk Grove Village, Illinois, here on the blog!

I have to tell you, one of my favorite things in the galaxy is seeing kids get psyched about Galactic Hot Dogs. I mean, I'm still kind of freaking out that I now have a real, hold-in-your-hands, actual book out there for people to buy. But then I see kids all crazy-excited about it...

And my tiny little Earth brain gets so happy, I can barely handle it.

My buddy, Max Brallier -- you know, the author of my book -- visited Rupley Elementary School a few days ago, and the kids gave him a galactically awesome welcome! Check out those amazing signs they made above, and this one of me and Princess Dagger!

Wow, those kids can draw! Max had a big crowd listening to him talk about Galactic Hot Dogs...

And then he met with kids in their classrooms to say hi and sign their books.

Max said he had such a great time and the kids were mega fun.

Princess Dagger isn't a fan of fat suits

Hey you guys. Get this: We have to fly by the Lost Triangle today. Ugh. That place gives me the mega-creeps. I mean, the last time I was there, I almost became a zombie space pirate's snack -- remember???

Yeah. The Lost Triangle is NOT my favorite space place. Hoping for an uneventful fly-by!

Okay, onto things that don't involve me becoming a Cosmoe kabob for zombies: the next all-new chapter of Galactic Hot Dogs: Book Two!

After my terrifying run-in with the lyanux monster, Humphree, Princess Dagger, and I decide we are getting ourselves out of this space circus catastrophe ASAP. Well, the next day. Space kids need their shut-eye. But then me and Dags are woken up out of a sound sleep by something creepy -- maybe we shouldn't wait to scram. But then there's the issue of that fat suit... When a toilet saves the day (and it's not what you're thinking)

Uggggh! What's that stench? Oh, right. The Neon Wiener is flying by GD9, General Krax's junk planet. Seriously, we are like millions of miles away and the stink is permeating our space craft. I guess that's what you get when you create a planet from trash. NASTY.

Speaking of disgusting odors, let's get into today's chapter of Galactic Hot Dogs: Book Two! Wait, what? Well, take a look at the cover and you'll get what I mean...

When we left off, it was a total destructified damage disaster!

Princess Dagger had blasted me with her ice ray gun by mistake as I was trying to defend the younglies tent full of kid aliens. I get freed from my frozen prison, and Humphree, Dags, and I end up running for our lives! How do we not get lanced by the lyanux? Well, it involves Goober, a toilet, and a tumble... Hot smudge! Today's the day! It's finally here!

Yikes! How will I tame the lyanux?!

Hey you guys! Today I've got a new chapter from Galactic Hot Dogs: Book Two for you!

When we last left off, I was in the middle of freaking out. I'm supposed to be able to tame the lyanux? The queen of the lunar jungles?! Smudge!
